Our Story

Momentem’s mission is to support purpose driven organizations as they strengthen their impact in a world that has fundamentally changed and is rapidly evolving.

Our value lies in our expertise as both for-profit and not-for-profit leaders and practitioners. As you navigate tectonic change, we can be your experienced thought partners to help your team yield better outcomes and accelerate momentum.
Momentem Consulting Group- Momentem with an “e”- was launched in 2021 by founders Ann Figueredo and Marlene L. Olshan as our country emerges from the major disruption of a pandemic and a national reckoning with systemic racism.  Everything we knew must be revisited and refined to fulfill our purpose.

Ann and Marlene are reuniting to form MomentEm after being partners and Principals at another consulting firm founded in the 1990’s called Spectrem Group. Spectrem with an “e”. As both an encore to their successful partnership in the past, as well as their strong desire to help organizations evolve to be the best they can be in the future, Momentem Consulting Group was formed.

Minimalist Staircase

Step 1

Momentem Group will work with you to prioritize your core assets and vulnerabilities, and to name and address external challenges.

We will facilitate work between staff and Board to align principles and core values that will serve as guideposts to forward decision making.

Step 2

We will collaboratively identify opportunities to advance the mission, and explore possible earned income opportunities embedded within the mission.

Momentem Consulting Group will assist your Staff and Board to develop criteria to pursue these opportunities. Together, we will find what is possible and what excites.

Step 3

Momentem will work closely with your Staff and financial reports to identify opportunities to gain efficiency and revenue momentum, as well as highlight programs that may no longer be economically viable in the current landscape.

We will explore Board composition and governance practices to best position these leadership volunteers as powerful catalysts for your ongoing momentum.

Step 4

Momentem Group will deliver an executive summary that provides a practical, implementable roadmap to execute in the near term, as well as serve as a foundation for longer term strategic planning.
